Tempera Batik is a style of painting that was developed to resemble true batik, without the use of fabric, wax or dyes. It is achieved by the following steps:

The entire painting is painted with several layers of tempera paint, without painting over the marker pen lines. The painting is allowed to dry thoroughly.
