Tempera Batik is a style of painting that was developed to resemble true batik, without the use of fabric, wax or dyes. It is achieved by the following steps:

The ink is rinsed off carefully, some of the paint will rinse off too. The artist must take care to control the rinsing process. The painting is then allowed to drain completely, and is then moved onto newspaper. The painting is allowed to dry overnight.
